RUNNERS AND RIDERS SHARED SERVICES WORK

The Company have short listed two companies to possibly take on the work currently undertaken by Shared Services.  Both these companies depend on the use of labour in low wage economies.  Individuals can make up their minds about both these companies.

Wipro are currently banned for tendering from work from the World Bank. In June 2007 they received a four year ban, and news reports at the time said “they violated the fraud and corruption provisions of the procurement guidelines or the consultant guidelines.”

TCS are the Company currently involved in shedding approximately 2000 North East jobs at the various Corus plants.
